Spruce Grove Allocates $75,000 for City Centre Storefront Improvement Program

For 2024, the City of Spruce Grove has designated a fund of $75,000 in 50%-matching grants to reimburse eligible businesses for repairs, renovations, and expansion to businesses in the Storefront Improvement Program Area on a first-come, first-served basis.

Eligible Spruce Grove Businesses Receiving Up to $7,500 for Qualifying Exterior Renovations

Successful applicants who emphasize pedestrian enjoyment, climate and weather protection, accessibility, or crime prevention through qualifying alterations will receive up to $7,500 in reimbursement grants. After review, approval, and completion of work, the grants will cover up to half of all incurred expenses. Building owners who improve corner businesses with two storefronts are eligible to receive up to $10,000.

Funding is first-come, first-served, and the program will end after all funds are disbursed. Qualifying businesses can apply through invest@sprucegrove.org.
