Spruce Grove's New Twin Arena Civic Centre is taking shape!
The City is seeking naming right sponsorships for the new Civic Centre.
The new Spruce Grove Civic Centre is taking shape! Located in Westwind, the Civic Centre will be the single largest project the City has ever done. Amenities include a spectator arena, community arena, a satellite location for the Spruce Grove Public Library, a black box theatre, art gallery, and a community walking track. The structural steel and roof of the community arena are nearing completion. The forming and beams for the spectator arena seating bowl are well underway, with the structural steel anticipated to be complete by end of January 2024.
The underground plumbing for the dressing rooms is in place and the concrete floors are being poured. Interior finishes will begin in May 2025. The projected construction completion is end of November 2024 with the facility opening to the public early 2025.

Fun facts
• As at the end of September, 53,000 person hours of work on site with 330 tons of construction waste diverted from the land fill
• The site hosted post secondary engineering and trades students, allowing our future trades people to experience the construction site firsthand
• This is a LEED certified facility with accommodations to allow for solar panels in the future
