GOVERNMENT OF ALBERTA Additional health measures will be eased for indoor fitness facilities and libraries, effective March 1st.
- Indoor fitness facilities have expanded to include low-intensity activities. Team sports are still not permitted. However, individual and group fitness activities are permitted, with restrictions. High-intensity activities are permitted for one-on-one or one-on-one household training only, with a trainer.
- Libraries are allowed to reopen, with a capacity limited to 15% of fire code occupancy, not including staff.
Some businesses are required to temporarily close, reduce capacity or limit in-person access. Masks are mandatory in all indoor public places, indoor workplaces, and places of worship. For more details and information, click here.
