Telus brings 5G network to Spruce Grove. Spruce Grove residents can now access the latest and greatest wireless phone standards if they are customers of Telus Communications Inc. The Vancouver-based device provider and carrier announced in a press release Sept. 23 that their 5G network – which refers to the latest cycle of technology for cellular devices that allows for greater download speeds and bandwidth – is now available within the community. It is set to come to Stony Plain by the end of the year, is already available in Edmonton and outpaces several rivals in the communications sphere. Read more.
