Businesses Recognized as Community Spirit Spruce Grove Winners

Monday, July 22, 2019

Every year one local business is awarded the Community Spirit Spruce Grove award. Local businesses are nominated by non-profit groups, community groups, and local residents. Each local business nominated for this award has helped community financially, through leadership, or volunteerism in support of events and programs that help the community. The chosen winner is presented the award at the Spruce Grove Chamber Gala, which is a yearly event. Last year, in 2018, the business awarded the Community Spirit Spruce Grove award was Save-On Foods. In 2017, the McLeod Home Building Centre won. Other past winners of this award for community spirit include The Black Dirt Company, Boston Pizza, and Liquor of McLeod, among others.
