Business owners interested in this funding incentive must confirm their Spruce Grove City Centre business meets all application requirements and obtain written permission from the building owner if a tenant, before submitting an application.
Successful Applications for the Spruce Grove City Center Align with SIP Vision
The SIP is searching for improvements that will provide continuous narrow storefronts and encourage Spruce Grove citizens to window-shop in the City Centre. Proposed improvements should encourage:
- Pedestrian enjoyment and aesthetically pleasing signage
- Weatherproofing and climate protection
- Accessibility for all
- Crime prevention through environmental design and enhanced lighting
Applications must include drawings and description of proposed improvements to the storefront, in addition to:
- Current photos
- Cost quotes with detailed cost breakdown
- Photos of products to be installed, if any
- Renderings of improvements if applicable
- Schedule and completion date
Most improvements should be completed within one year of application. The grant will cover up to 50% of eligible renovation costs.
