ALBERTA GOVERNMENT Businesses affected by the COVID-19 pandemic will be able to apply for another payment from the Small and Medium Enterprise Relaunch Grant (SMERG) starting in the second half of April. The additional payment of $10,000 will be available to organizations operating before February 29, 2020 as well as new businesses that began operations between March 1, 2020 and March 31, 2021 as well as hotels, taxis, and ride-sharing services. Applications will remain open until May 31 to allow organizations time to apply and get the support they need. Learn more.
