Department: Economic & Business Development
Dave leads a team of five Economic Development professionals, charged with implementing the City's Economic Development Strategy & Action Plan 2023-28. This involves facilitating and delivering programs and services intended to help local businesses prosper and grow and attract new business and investment to Spruce Grove. The department works closely with businesses and investors to identify and take advantage of economic development opportunities that help to diversify the local economy and support employment growth. The department seeks to develop Economic Development partnerships through support to the Economic Development Advisory Committee (EDAC) of Council and participation in Edmonton Global.
