The demolition of the old skate park marks the beginning of the new Re-Imagined Central Park.
The City of Spruce Grove has embarked on a multi-year project to enhance and revitalize Central Park, officially kicking off construction May 3 of this year. A significant milestone was reached the week of May 24, as the removal of the former Central Park Skate Park marks the trek towards the construction of new amenities coming later this summer, to be finished Summer 2025.
The goals of this project are to improve the park experience for users of all ages and abilities, including a wheeled sports park and pump track, playground structures with accessible features, new picnic and shelter areas, and upgrades to the trails and walking paths.
