Year In Review: Route 560 into Edmonton City Centre starting up in Spruce Grove

Residents in the City of Spruce Grove will soon have access to public transportation to downtown Edmonton.

Beginning on Aug. 31, route 560 will make stops at the commuter centre outside Heavy Metal Place in Spruce Grove before taking riders to NAIT, downtown Edmonton and MacEwan University. The bus then returns to Spruce Grove to start the process over.  The route will run Monday-Friday from 5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. There will be no sevice on holidays.

Riders can track their trip on the City of Spruce Grove website. View the real-time position of all the Route 560 buses currently on the road using the map provided on the website. The tool allows residents to see at a glance if their bus is on time or late. Green is on time, red is late, blue is early. Those who would like to get more information about a particular bus on the route can click on a bus to view details such as the trip schedule for that bus and more!
