Funding Incentives Available For Businesses That Utilize the Spruce Grove City Centre Storefront Improvement Program

A storefront improvement funding incentive is available for businesses in Spruce Grove City Centre. The City has allocated $75,000 for exterior renovations and reimbursements to cover up to half of all expenses for eligible storefront updates. Funding is available on a first-come, first-served until the total is dispersed.

City Centre Storefronts May Qualify for Up to $10,000 in Reimbursements for Repairs and Renovations

Corner storefronts with multiple facades are eligible for a maximum of $10,000 in costs that cover both walls. Maximum reimbursement for other businesses may not exceed $7,500, covering up to half of all costs.

Businesses whose applications are approved by the city government will receive reimbursement upon proof of project completion. To receive payment, business owners must supply:  

• Current photos 
• Cost quotes with detailed cost breakdown
• Photos of products to be installed, if any  
• Renderings of improvements if applicable
• Schedule and completion date

Application deadlines are rolling. The SIP will continue until all funds are disbursed. Interested businesses are encouraged to apply with this form as soon as possible.
