If there was an antonym for Ebenezer Scrooge it would be Wilhauk Beef Jerky.
Last week, the local business concluded its annual ’12 Days of Giving’ campaign both for the season and foreseeable future after a five-year run of profound generosity.
Owned and operated by Trevor and Amanda Wilhauk, the store opened in Spruce Grove on Dec. 12, 2016. Admittedly knowing very little about how to run a business at the time, the couple were ‘shocked’ by the amount of support they received as they approached the business’s one-year anniversary. In an effort to ‘give back’ to the community, they decided to host their first ’12 Days of Giving’ campaign from Dec. 1–12, 2017.
