TC Energy

TC Energy, with over 70 years in the energy infrastructure industry, has had a presence in Spruce Grove since 1981. In 2022, they expanded their facilities by acquiring an additional 47,000-square-foot space at 61 Mica Link, which was further bolstered in 2023 with nearly 100,000 square feet of new space at their Diamond Avenue location. This expansion enabled TC Energy to relocate its NOVA Gas Transmission Ltd. (NGTL) Northern Alberta Operations team from Edmonton to Spruce Grove, underscoring the city’s strategic advantages. Spruce Grove’s central location, ample room for expansion, lower operational costs, and supportive local government make it an ideal hub for TC Energy’s operations.

The Spruce Grove site is now a critical distribution hub, supplying essential materials and components for projects across Western Canada. TC Energy has expanded across North America, operating pipelines and energy generation projects in Canada, the United States, and Mexico. Their dedication to safety and sustainability is reflected in rigorous pipeline monitoring and environmental standards.

Committed to community support, TC Energy aligns with Spruce Grove’s values through its core pillars: safety, environment, education, and resilient communities. This includes supporting local first responders, environmental initiatives, Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education, and events such as Light Up Central Park celebration. TC Energy remains focused on safe, reliable energy while continuing to invest in Spruce Grove’s growth and development.
