Alberta Jobs Now Program Fall Intake - Apply Today!

The second application intake for the Alberta Jobs Now program opens today! Employers can apply for funding to fill labour needs, helping more Albertans get back to work and supporting stronger economic recovery throughout the province.

Employers can apply for funding to help fill 10 positions that must be filled within 90 days after approval of their application. This will speed up the hiring process compared to the first application period and allow more businesses to participate.

Applications will be reviewed on a first-come-first-served basis until funds are allocated for this intake. A third application period will open next year.

Overview

The Alberta Jobs Now program will provide up to $370 million to help private and non-profit businesses with job supports to get thousands of Albertans back to work.

Employers can apply for funding to offset the cost of hiring and training Albertans in new or vacant positions.

This federal-provincial investment is the largest job training program in Alberta’s history. It will support our province’s recovery, help businesses re-open or grow their workforce, and give Albertans an opportunity to gain the skills they need in today’s job market.
