The City of Spruce Grove’s Environment and Transit Department is the lead role for sustainability initiatives within the City organization and for the larger community that focus on:

  • Water conservation & energy efficiency
  • Greenhouse gas analysis & air quality monitoring
  • Natural areas planning

Spruce Grove's LEED-certified buildings include:

  • City Hall
  • Public Works Facility
  • Integrated RCMP facility (under construction).
