Strengthening the Urban Core

The heart of any city is its downtown. So it makes sense to invest the effort and resources to ensure a thriving, walkable city centre that serves as a destination.

city centre revitalization

Led by a dedicated Board of Directors, the Spruce Grove City Centre Business Association (CCBA), working with the City of Spruce Grove, is engaging the community, City Centre businesses and property owners to reinvigorate and redefine Spruce Grove’s City Centre.

As part of the revitalization process, a City Centre Area Redevelopment Plan (ARP) bylaw was developed which went before Council for a second reading in May 2019.

The City of Spruce Grove supports the CCBA in hosting a series of successful events in City Centre including Public Markets, Winterfest, Cruise Nights, and more!
